March River Tees day

March River Tees day.
A day on the freewater stretch of the River Tees around Darlington
If you want to fish for Brown Trout this day will have to be on or after the 22nd which is when the season starts how about the weekend before the Langley Site Day?

This has happened before, and yes I or TC can cancel a site day if insufficient people are going to turn up, not fair on the fishery and not fair on this site either.

But this is for a river, something that is new to this site and the previous site too, you will have noticed Welly, Marshal, and maybe a couple of others might be joining us, still do not know about Andy with his work commitments, I am waiting for confirmation of who is going to be down on the Broken Scar free stretch next Saturday morning?

In the past Lee, we have booked whole fishery's for site days as you know, imagine our horror when only 4 or 5 people turn up, it happened at Higham and at Chatton too in the past, the fishery has told other anglers that it is fully booked for the day, they loose income we loose face, It does not do the site any good or give us a very good name with the fishery's, I and the fishery's would rather be informed of people dropping out so other plans can be made, at least the fishery can be informed, I do not know where you have got it from as this is a site where you have to do as I or TC says mate, but the above makes for a bit of common sense, You and everybody else decides on what to do, I have never told anyone on this site or any other site what to do that is there choice. The only other way to do this is get everyone to pay for the day in advance and this would cause even more problems, problems I am not even going to contemplate cause it will not happen.

With your comments Lee, why do we bother arranging site days, polls to decide on venues, phone calls booking the fisheries, time spent arranging polls on the site for the venue, day, date etc why don't we just do a post letting people know where you are fishing and if you want company don't think anyone will meet up very often at the same fishery.

I have to work on saturday im afraid. So sorry i wont be there for this.

Looks like in the interest of safety this might have to be cancelled anyway anyone seen the height of the Tees Hope it goes down by Saturday if this snow and rain lets up
