For Rosslynlee 24 rods and we could get the banks to ourselves plus a couple of boats to fill.Alderneuk would be dependent on time of year.Winter months maybe 12 would be enough with summer months probably a few more bodies needed.

Stew i just love the way English folk seem to think Scotland is the size of a postage stamp.Gets worse the further south you go IMO.They seem to think Glasgow is Scotland! Laughing

During this year I would like someone to sort out Site days, Dave is up to his neck in it, I am not well enough to do much at the moment, apart from letting me gob go at times? I would like to do a few but that depends on transport, Aldin Grange was mentioned at our last site day, Sharpley, Westhouse were also mentioned, Langley will be a must, Sweethope, Aldernuek and a few forays into Scotland. Again anywhere I get to this year will be depending on transport.

I trip north of the border would be great but can we wait until the weather warms up and the days get longer so we can get the most out of it.
Aldin is a ideal winter venue with great pies !!

i don't mind doing site days , anything to keep site going .site days are a great opportunity to meet people with a passion for the same thing as you and make some new friends, i will have a word with the new fishery at thrunton about a possible site day once they are up and running ,

Have not heard of anyone fishing Aldin for awhile, but if the number of anglers going has dwindled they will not be stocking fish, would you? Aldin always had a good head of fish in anyway, or does it have to be a recently stocked water to fish it? (seem to remember someone saying he liked wild waters with no stockies) or are they going to make the trout lakes into coarse lakes ? which would be a shame.

Andy? There is nothing arranged or mentioned anywhere on the site about a site day at Langley, yet, but I am certain there will be it is a hell of a fishery, not a small water but also not a large water. Will be interesting to see what the new disabled/ beginner area will be like. Saw the digger in the water last weekend.

A lot already car share, I mentioned a few closer to me, last year Lochwood Beck, Leighton Res, Westhouse no takers? yet its a good job we have the van as most of the fisheries we did fish last year I was picked up from there to travel North into the borders.

Lets face it most site days are attended by the same people all the time look at the site days lists of members who went to them last year.
