Re: Neoprene sock problems
Try turning them over just below the weld where they meet the wader do it with your boots on so you get the right hight and stick with water proof glue . Not super glue or it will become brittle . Use Bostic or even tyre glue like you get in a puncture kit .
Don't cut them off or they will leak as neo sponge stretches with use .

Thick socks and neoprene socks like i have should give you enough padding to fill them out?
You can get the neoprene socks for about a fiver aswell, so its worth a punt?

You could cut the feet off all together and use them as waterproof in the winter

Re: Neoprene sock problems
There is a service on the internet who do wader repairs and also re size the sock
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
bit on the pricey side for a cheap pair of waders though ?
Sock size reduction
£35- only done as part of a seamseal, so add £45 for this.
might be an idea to try and find out how this is done and what glue they use?

Was hoping some of our learned friends on here may be able to help with that. Ian.

Only glue I know of is Aquasure Noel, its a Urethane repair adhesive and sealant, a flexible repair adhesive for neoprene and breathable Waders but if it was me I would use it as Dave suggested fold spare over or in and stick down as once cut you might have trouble resealing em I used it when I split me breathables from ear to ear they watertight again now takes overnight to bond watertight.
