Dear Fishing Friend

Here is your new January 2013 edition of the South Linden Fishery
Newsletter.
We hope you are surviving not being able to fish at the moment due to the
weather, hopefully, Things will thaw out soon and we can resume the sport
we all love.

The bait lake has a good stock of overwintered Rainbow Trout and Blue
Trout for your fishing pleasure. For the Bait fisherman, we are now
stocking some larger trout with each load of fish.

We have on a special offer for children under 12 during school holidays.
Children fish free when sharing the parents bag of fish. Bring
the children and the Grand Children out for a day on the Bait lake.

We hope you enjoy it, and all MANY NEW THINGS that are happening at the
Fishery
April Special Event
In April, On 20 - 21 GAIA Game Angling instructors will have a North
East Regional Event at South Linden Fishery.
At this event which will be two days there will be workshops on: fly tying
demos –Tuition,Casting Tuitiaon Single/Double handed Fishing techniques
Scottish Casting games – Great fun for all contact Kevin Dawson

Cost will be £15 for two days £10 for one day with concessions at the gate
Free for fishermen under age 16. ALL WELCOME.

The fly lake is currently well stocked with fish up to and including 20
pounders.

We have Not had to increase our fishery prices this year in spite of
everything else around us going up this will be the third year we have
held our prices.
We will honour your last years Loyalty tickets Just dig them out and bring
them along Remember, fish 5 times and get a free like fishing session.

We are all looking forward to meeting those of you who are new, and have
never fished the lakes. We are also looking forward to seeing again all
our faithful regulars.
