Fish Report-Sweethope Loughs May 20th – May 26th 2013


Both lakes have been fishing well, anglers reporting that rainbow, blue and brown trout have been giving excellent sport.

94 rods managed a total catch of 186 rainbow, 29 blue and 23 brown trout.

Heaviest fish of the week was a 6lb rainbow caught by Mr. David Ord
of Morpeth.

Successful flies this week: Cats Whisker, Diawl Bach, Black Buzzer, Orange Fritz, Dawson’s Olive, Black and Green Montana and Bibio.
