I had 4 hours to kill yesterday and it was a flick of a couple of coins on where to go Shocked Had to drop the other half and daughter off at Girl Guides camp at Raby Castle, thought about heading into Teesdale, then Weardale and looking for Noel, ended up at our van Near Corbridge had to pick the cadac up anyway Shocked I have never seen so many Buzzards around, all the way up the A68, as I did yesterday, everywhere you looked there was 2 or 3 or more circling around Shocked had one fly across the road right in front of me for a carcass at the side of the road at one point, Had to be back at Raby Castle for 2pm Shocked affraid I only left the Van at 1.15pm, affraid yes I had the camera with me and was trying to get a couple of good pictures, but the light was just not right for a good shot, even though there were plenty of them very close, just too dark.
Had a Fairly fast ride back to Raby Castle good job no speed cameras on A68 lol!

Static Caravans - Page 2 Empty A Couple Of Pics.

Post by Ian Alexander Sun Apr 28, 2013 6:29 pm

Hello,
I know it's an older thread but I thought I'd post a picture of my caravan. Thought it might be of interest to the "fellow caravaners" on the site Very Happy

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

And here's one of my dog "Newton" enjoying the little bit of sunshine this weekend.

My friend has a lodge up at Eggleston. The Burnfoot Beck runs through the site. Burnfoot Beck divides Darlington Brown Trout water and Bishop Auckland water. I dont know if its linked to your site in Weardale but the manager says they have a site on the Wear.Should be stuffed with fish up at Eastgate now you have had some water. I stick with a Bibio and the Peter -Ross when i fish for the Sea-Trout. Its a confidence thing i did sacking the others i never caught fish on.

I took Ernie Craster there one year he is in Darlington Brown Trout.
He reported that there was more fish up there last season.
Ernie is a top match fisherman he fishes Westhouse also.

I was up at ours last Sunday but too windy to uncover it so left it dressed for winter.
