Re: Broke scar after ladies
You want to take your rod while your looking for the ladies at broken scar. Ive read on another forum the Tees is fishing well for Grayling.
I like to try with the worm and a bob float when fishing in winter.
It was always a nice break from the fly gear.
Ive got a centerpin reel called the Major that was loaned to me but sadly the angler is no longer with us.The worms i have i bred from scaleing dam in three compost bins. My rod is a solid fiberglass spinning rod that my father bought me second hand in the pub.
I have caught grayling on fly . Traditional grayling flies like the Red Tag and the Dry Little Red Sedge worked for me.
When i used czech nymphs in november i only caught sea-trout.
Maybe its time i got me gear out and tried for a Wear Grayling. I used to like fishing around Escomb on the Wear. Not fished the Tees a lot for Grayling, but ive had some good grayling from the Swale.Lets hope we dont get floods this winter.
