rod road test Empty rod road test

Post by bruntroot Tue Oct 15, 2013 4:25 pm

For quite a few months a friend and I have been looking at designing some rods...we've just recieved a pair of samples ...if anyone would be interested in trying them out at the site day at I'll bring them along...they are 10' #7 and 10' #6 .....the carbon used is the highest grade and the fittings are also top quality ....we've had a few samples sent but they have't been up to the quality we were after, but I'm assured by my friend that the new ones are spot on....I'm just looking forward to getting home tomorrow to have a look.

cheers noel.... we just want a general feeling of what people think before the real money gets spent....I haven't seen them yet as I'm not home until tomorrow...I know of one guy who has seen them and he has already said he would sell his sage rods and get a couple....just hope they are up to the hype I'm hearing from home.....!!

all i can say rob is that they are the best quality carbon we could find...but they aren't british mate..but neither is hardly any other rod on the market mate....I don't think they'll brake the bank either mate but I have heard really good reviews from a couple of lads that do fish but Alan my mate is waiting till i get home to put a line on them.

Well...had a look at the rods and they look good...compared the # 7 to my greyd x-flite and it is just as good....if i'm honest a couple of little changes are needed  but  it chucks a line lovely. The size 6 is a belta....lee c I think you'll like it. But like i say I'll bring them upto the site day so so I',m after honest opinions ....
