Have you asked the libray if they can get you that book ?.
The lasses at my local libray at Roseworth can usually get me a book if its in the branches or if its in print still they have got me books before.

I am talking about books lee. I havnt got round to downloading anything yet. They have Roger Foggs latest book in Stockton Libray called Northern Wet Fly. Ive got Mr Foggs first book and thats a classic thats taught me everything i know about fishing. Good or Bad .Well worth borrowing or buying.

I made all them sayers nymphs ect when i first started tying flies and to be honest it was a waste of time.
I believe here in the north east the water is darker and colder so nymphs are not taken as much as they are on chalkstreams.
Its the same with spotting fish in our peaty stained rivers.
Sea-Trout are very hard to spot. But you go on these southern websites and the water is crystall clear.
My fav nymph is the hares ear in all its forms.
I have never caught a lot on the pheasant tail.
The Peter-Ross is the same you either love it or hate it.
I sacked a lot of my flies in 2002. I now carry a lot less and i am also more relaxed in my fishing. Old age or something.

I like me gold ribbed hares really scruffy. Rough em up with velcro. And the gold bead hares ear is a good point fly when i fish a team of three on the river.

My montana nymphs are made with seals fur or a sub rather than chennile and i use zonker rabbit for the tail and crow feather for the thorax cover.
Black and Red and the Black and Green montanas usually caught me a fish.
When finished i rough them up with the velcro strip.
