Looking for a lighter rod for summer(dry ) use...currently happy with Grey's grxi #7/8, but wanting comments on:-
ORVIS
WYCHWOOD
GUIDELINE
AIRFLO

Anything else round the £100 mark...

Haven't used any of the above but I have 2 greys same as you and they can present a dry perfectly IMO

Thanks, I was probably heading towards another Grey's #5 . but just curious about the rest of the bunch. They all look good on review sites, but....

You can't go wrong with greys. I use a 5wt grx for rivers and it has served me well for years.
Mind you if you want to save money have a look at the flextec rods. A few of us use them and they are very cheap if you play the eBay waiting game.

Thanks DazKat, Just been looking at the Flextec, for those prices you can't go wrong, + I love those types of deals on eBay, I'm usually really lucky , my last bargain was £200 quids worth of Record power woodturning chisels for £30... thanks again, I'll give it a bash and keep you posted.
