Been a while since we were up at Whinney so was looking forward to our trip even though there were 25 mph winds forecast  Shocked  Darren, Paul and myself arrived just before 9 and paid for an 8 hour session which surprised Ted, thinking we might just be doing 4 hrs  Laughing I started just down from the lodge and Paul was soon into a fish but unfortunately it was soon off ! I had started with a pinky that was very successful last visit, but fish were rising so changed to a sedge and soon had fish on but it didn't stick and went the same way as Pauls . After missing a couple more I put on a sunken daddy and after a few casts had 1st fish in the net, blank off ! Moving down the bank during the morning I picked up 3 more fish, 2 on a black and green mini minky and another on the daddy, a lovely fish about 4 lbs. After a break for lunch and a rest from the strong wind we set off again, but for me it was a frustrating afternoon, losing 1 and missing a few I only managed to land one more fish again to the minky.but really good to visit Whinney again and I'm sure it won't be too long before our next visit

I started a the  opposite end of the loch to Eric and Paul.  I dropped a fish on my first cast and virtually on my last cast but did manage 9 in between.
Good day with good company.
