pay for a decent line Noel makes all te difference, my opinion...try Jim Tuck he has some good ones going at the minute mate....don't know how much but he say's there good...

I've Snowbees and Cortland lines Anth as well as some from the lower end of the price scale ,it's a question of what people think about these lines as they are manufactured at the 22m factory also the same factory that makes the expensive lines . The same be could said don't buy a Shakey fly rod only buy Sage.

I know I've had inexpensive lines before noel and wouldn't use them for a washing line....but if there from the same factory they will chance to be the Mill end lines which are usually ok....how much are they.....Lawrence from Chopwell had some intermediates a couple month ago and from what I heard they were as good as the Cortland blues.....they looked and felt the same ..just mill ends i think

Out of curiosity nothing else nothing more apart from trying to get a thread running on something peeps may feel a need too contribute to.
