Sweethope Fishery Report 1st September

Fish Report-Sweethope Loughs Week Ending September 1st   2013

The fishery has been in excellent condition with anglers all succeeding to fish from the top with dries. Daddies in particular have been successful but hares ears, sedges and hoppers have also been catching fish.

Windy weather at the week-end made for difficult fishing but the forecast for the coming week promises some excellent sport.

127 Rainbow, 7blue and 16 brown trout were caught this week by a total of 53 visitors.92 of these fish were returned to the water.

Successful flies: daddies ,sedges, hoppers, hare’s ears, bibios, olive nymph, black buzzer, dawson’s olive, cat’s whisker.
