Sweethope Fishery Report 18th August
Fish Report-Sweethope Loughs Week Ending August 18th 2013
A predominantly cold, wet and windy week has given challenging conditions but those who have braved the weather have been rewarded with bags of up to 18 fish.
Heaviest fish of the week was a 3lb 8oz rainbow caught and returned from the bank of the Great Lake by Grant Downie on a Pheasant Tail Nymph.
We were visited by 35 rods who caught 80 rainbows and 2 blues, 20 fish were taken and 60 returned to the water.
Successful fly patterns were: caddis fly larva, Dawson’s Olive, olive fritz, cdc, daddies, yellow dancer, hoppers.
