Sweethope Fishery Report 4th August

Fish Report-Sweethope Loughs July 29th – August 4th 2013

Conditions have gradually improved at the fishery with catches and visitor numbers increasing as the water cools down.

We hosted the Fishing for Everyone Ladies Club for a competition day on Sunday which was won by Ms. Deborah Ford from Alston who took a 5lb 6oz Rainbow fishing from a boat on the Great Lake. The fish was
hooked, using a Black Pennell.

We were visited by total of 75 rods who caught 158 fish, returning 104 safely to the lakes.

Fly patterns employed: viva, buzzer, Dawson’s Olive, muddlers, cats whisker, hoppers, Black Pennell, boobies.
