Fish Report-Sweethope Loughs 17^th   June – 23^rd     June   2013

 

 

Sweethope has been fishing well though visitor numbers have been down slightly. Those who have visited and braved the week-end weather have been rewarded with excellent takes. On Friday Nick Davies of Whitley Bay caught 19 fish on the Great Lake. Sunday saw reports of catches of 9 and 15 fish.

The fishery was visited by 78 rods reporting total catches of 217 rainbow, 22 blue and 8 brown trout.

Successful fly patterns were: Hoppers, Sedges, Buzzers, Claret Bumble, Black Pennell,  Dawson’s Olive, Diawl Bach, Kate McClaren.
