Sweethope Fishery Report 16th June

Fish Report-Sweethope Loughs 10th June – 16th June 2013
Sweethope has been fishing well though visitor numbers have been down slightly due to the windy weather.
Heaviest fish was an 8lb rainbow caught by Mr. J. Walker of Newburn, however, all anglers are remarking on the quality and fitness of the fish.
16 year olds, Joe Welch and Tom Wilson of Allendale were especially pleased with their catch of blue trout weighing 3-4 lb.
All in all the fishery was visited by 92 rods this week, catching a total of 100 rainbow, 34 blue and 5 brown trout.
Successful fly patterns:Orange Fritz, Okey Dokey, Richardson’s Muddler
Hare’s Ear, Sedges, Buzzers, Dawson’s Olive, Bloodworm.
