Sweethope Loughs May 9th – May16th 2013

The last week has seen cold and windy conditions. Despite the difficulties those who were prepared to brave the weather have been rewarded with some great fishing.

The 9th and 10th saw visitors from Edinburgh catch 22 fish but most impressive was a partnership from Morpeth who were the only people to brave the weather on Wednesday, catching 40 rainbows. They were not rewarded so handsomely on yesterday’s visit in much more friendly weather, catching a mere 7 fish.
