What a great rod the Daiwa Lochmore is i say that because i use one.
I wouldnt use Lochmore as my username althought i thought about it after being barred from the Seatroutforum ,Whitbyfishingforum, and the Salmonforum but i dont miss them.
When i saw my name on here is now Lochmore i had to laugh though. Laughing
Ive stuck to Lochbois since 2008 but i dare not tell anybody my name when i am fishing incase i meet the cyber bullies that threatened to sort me out.
Can i have me Lochbois name back if its not to hard to do.
I tried for ages to register back on here after the close of Gameangler on line and eventually got here.
My Surname Boiston gives me a problem because everybody spells it Boyston.
Its Boiston and i am proud to be one of the last of them even though it might get me beat up. Laughing

Thanks for giveing me my original name back. I hope you dont think i am whinging. I was reminded about Lochmore because somebody was selling one on another forum. I might buy it if the man accepts my offer. I am happy with the 10 footer but i do like the rods. Very Happy

I ve never tried the Altmore Dave.
They were the dearer of the Daiwa.
I started with CF 98 Daiwas and found them all right.
My first fly rod was Geoff Bucknall fly rod.
Then i bought the first carbon rod which i still use.
Its the Hardy Richard Walker Farnbrough 9foot 3ins 7-8 rod.
I do like the 10 foot length for my fishing most times though.
The Hardys a lot stiffer and can handle the winds up Teesdale.
Trouble is i cant be bothered with thew winds these days.

I hope to get a new Daiwa rod when i win the prize in the Fly Fishing and Flt- Tying magazine competition.
I might be able to afford to buy a rod if i win me claim for tinitis in me ears from working on heavy plant for 12 years.
Dont think i would ever go down the Sage Road from what ive seen of their rods. Far too expensive for my use.
