23 days off

Post by bruntroot on Thu Apr 18, 2013 10:26 am

well, from tuesday next week I have 23 days off, I think most of it will be spent on the river derwent with a few trips to waskerly thrown in. Sweethope is Definitely on the cards along with a trip to or two to Langley , and the TEFF heat there.....might even manage a day or two up the Derwent and a trip to Chatton.....!!! So if anyones at a loose end from next Tuesday and fancy a days fishing somewhere give me shout.......Cant wait, 23 days of fishing and I'm going to make sure I get out somewhere everyday even if its just for an hour or two down the river........

fished it for over thirty years john, i tend to live down there when i'm home, but yeah no problem mate just drop me a message closer to the time and I would more than happy to show you about.....that applies to anybody else who fanies a day on the river I think a day ticket permit can be purchased from Ebchester Post office, I think they are about £5, If you let me know a couple of days in advance I could get the tickets if you want an early start......

well back to work after my 23 days off.....out of my time at home I managed to squeeze in 19 days worth of fishing..afternoons or mornings down the river derwent, or an afternoon or three at Knitsley, three trips to Langley including the TEFF heat in which I qualified in the team section with Dave86 and Fluffcat, 2 afternoons at Waskerly and one at Smiddyshaw...2 days at the Derwent Resevoir ...I would say that I was fished out but I really believe I could go somewhere whether it be small stills resevoirs or Rivers everyday without getting tired of it ...Just need the six numbers to give it a real go......must get to sweethope though next time I'm back and Jaykay anytime you fancy another day down the river just let me know......
