bought the ultra max midge tip £23 for the line and a free buff wf6. other midge tips go for £40+

Well sorry for late reply line sits perfectly on the water casts well ..... but the running line that is free in the hand is like spring. Stretched and stretched it again.

Hi Neol, not trying to tell my Granny how to suck eggs, but did you try washing the tip with washing up liquid to get the residue of it, this sometimes helps on new lines. After they havr been used a couple of times there normally ok. Unless the one you got was faulty.

Hi Rob left it soaking for a week in soapy water but still no difference. Waiting for Ben to give some feedback.

Thats not good. I have just got a new Airflo clear slow glass, which acted like a floater, but after about 15 mins casting and retrieving it settled down and is now sinking as it is ment too.
