22nd here we come

Friday sees the start of the river season on the Blyth and Ive booked it off work. I can't wait to battle with the brownies again. However the weather looks like its got other plans. I had a look down today and the river was nearly in flood. It's not looking good.

So if I've got the day off and the river is still flooding where should I go? I can't waste a day.

Got to admit i am looking forward to getting on Cow Green. but i will be waiting for the weather to warm a tad as it will be a bit brisk up there to say the least.

I'm praying to the rain and snow gods to give it a rest but it's not working.

It was a bit of a disaster today. I should have listened to the forecast but who does when your mind is on the fishing!!

We arrived to find Stephen tucked up in his car in a very snowy car park!! We went into the lodge to have a chat with Fred and were greeted to the warm welcome of "What the F**K you doing here are you mad" !!

As you can see from the pic I think we were!!! After a bit of crack we headed for home but only after having to dig my car out of the car park!! The joy of the German car!! A big thank you the Stephen and Maddog for the help. I'm sure Maddog needed the work out.

I hope it warms up for the site day.

Silly bugger it Langley not the watch , the cold must have got to his head .

i didnt need a work out just need my m8 to have a car with front wheel drive were it should be .but on the up side his rear window did keep my hands warm while i was pushing HIM

Could be a full carpark come Sunday
