Fishing For Heroes Empty Fishing For Heroes

Angling Coach and Hardy & Greys Marketing Executive, Lucy Bowden is organising the first ever held Fishing For Heroes charity fly fishing event in the North East of England.

The event, which will take place next month on Saturday 27th April at Chatton Trout Fishery in Northumberland will see anglers take part in a fun competition.

The event is sponsored by Barbour, Hardy & Greys and Fishing For Everyone. Registration is from 12 and fishing is 1-5pm. A hog roast, auction and raffle will follow the fishing and all anglers will get the chance to see and try out the new Hardy and Greys rods and reels.

Lucy said;

“Fishing For Heroes is a very worthwhile charity. Founded in 2009, the charity are based in Derby are help forces personnel who are suffering from emotional issues after the horrors of active service through taking them fishing. I am very pleased to be able to support Fishing For Heroes and look forward to meeting veterans and anglers alike on the day."
