Dyeing pheasant tails.
I have recently been given around 25-30 pheasant tails so I'm going to have my first go at dyeing.
My question is do pheasant tails take dye the same as say a cape or marabou or do they need anything done with them for them to take the dye properly also is there a certain brand of dye that works better than others for dyeing pheasant tails.
The colours I'm planning on doing first are red, yellow, chartreuse and maybe olive.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks John.

John best off bleaching them first if ya want true colours they won't go any of the colours you are wanting without it
