New river rod
Im looking at getting a new 5wt for the rivers. I'm going to pass on my trusty Shaky to my nephew and it's a good excuse for a new rod!!!
I would like a streamtec but I don't think I could get away with it. Anyone seen any bargains ?

I have just got a 9ft 5# Greys G-TEC rod from Alnwick, its a superb rod, I have been using it over the last couple of weekends for the dries. They had a couple left, no rod tubes, end of line sale. Would recommend these rods. £120.00

I took A trip up to Alnwick and had a play with a couple of rods. There are some bargains to be had if you root about.
I ended up with a GRXi+ 5wt. I've always liked the rods and it been well christened with loads of small brownies, salmon par and dace.
