can't make my mind up

well about to take the plunge and order myself a new rod for the up and coming season and get myself back into the sport been trying out different rods when i can get the chance and i've come up with two i keep going back to the Airflo Airlite Nantec 9'6 . #6/7 and i know i've said i wasn't a fan of grays tackle but found myself favoring the the Greys XF2 Competitor Special Rod 9'6 . #7. the two are classed as tip action but found the grays a very steely rod but throws a great line each rod very light and responsive not used one of these stiff action rods before would they be more tiring to use on a full day's fishing and i guess you have to be more careful playing the fish.
if any of the readers have tried any of the mentioned rods how did you get along with them  

got the same comp special as you , very similar in my opinion to platinum xd , nice rod could fish all day with it no bother ,

the Greys XF2 is a one I use and I can fish all day with it as well .
as for catching that's a different matter I never catch now't just ask the lads

I have a gs2 good rod for price

I got a 10 foot xf2 comp special 6 wieght and its the mutts nuts, I know many who will swear by Airflo rods but in my early days I snapped a fair few Airflo rods so my trust in them went oot the window   

Those that know me have seen the rods I use all the time matched pairs a 6 and an 8 wieght for less than £100 for them both, when your banging em together walking from peg to peg in comps, pleasure fishing, banging em of boulders on the banks, walking into tree's, clanking the blank with heavy lures, all take there toll on rods.

thanks for all your help looks like i'll be giving the gray's xf2 a try i've always stayed away from grays in the past only because in the 30+ years of being a sea angler i've seen many of gray's sea rods snapped fingers crossed their game rods are better
