My cousin Jim Tuck (he won the troutmasters last year)suggested I join the forum so here I am. At 48 ive been game fishing for 30 odd years so I suppose its not a hobby its a way of life. I used to live in Nottingham so have fished at foremark, colwick park (season ticket holder), rutlland (season ticket holder) and toft newton but have lived on the beautiful Isle of Man for 26 years now. Its got good rainbow reservoir fishing (6 reservoirs) and small rivers with brownies, sea trout and the odd salmon so its a bit of an anglers dream here. So if you want any info on the fishing here im happy to help and chat on the site. If Im not online I am probably tying a few flies or down the rezzy stalking a rise at sunset....Pete

Thanks. Its that time of year for me now. Season starts here March 10th. So have cleaned all me gear, Fly vest pockets are all filled with the essentials and now tying a few flies ready and having the lads round for a bit of tackle talk and beer. reminiscing and planning our season ahead

Hi Jim. been a busy few days. All me trout gear cleaned and sorted. Thanks for introducing me to the site. I talked to our government fisheries manager today getting all the craic and latest on the game fishing here. Theres a public meeting next Thursday where the fisheries manager and government chat to anglers and answer questions. I must admit its pretty good here, 6 reservoirs and the season ticket is only £205 for the season and £69 for the rivers. All the rezzies are stocked regularly with triploids.
